Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach. Responsibilities: - Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software - Troubleshoot software applications, network issues, and peripheral equipment - Set up and configure new desktops, laptops, and mobile devices - Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues - Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner - Ensure security and privacy of systems and data - Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical problems Skills: - Proficiency in GPO (Group Policy Objects) management - Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills - Experience with Active Directory administration - Familiarity with help desk software such as Remedy - Knowledge of firewall configurations and troubleshooting - Ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively - Understanding of DNS (Domain Name System) configuration - Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android) - Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can enhance your technical skills while providing essential support to end-users.
